Blackburn Job Clubs BSL & Deaf Awareness Training
“The course was really interesting and I felt I learnt a lot. I think the things I have learnt today will be very useful in the future”
Members of our Good Health Fund and Blackburn job clubs took part in our BSL & Deaf Awareness training course today. The session gave members an introduction to British Sign Language, including how to fingerspell and simple greetings. The course focused on communication and helped participants help to understand issues Deaf people may face.
